HydroSil is a breakthrough liquid inorganic hydrogen carrier, enabling hydrogen to be produced, stored, and transported at ambient temperature and pressure using existing infrastructure.

HSL Technologies has conceived the first carrier to transport and store hydrogen & silica at ambient temperature and pressure in liquid state with a non-organic basis.

These innovations consist of two innovative chemical processes that charge and release hydrogen in the carrier, combining it with silica.

This solution is called Hydrosil and offers great perspectives for green hydrogen hubs, heavy industries’ decarbonization by releasing low-carbon silica.
